About GDE SciBOTICS 2025
Inspiring the next generation of robotics innovators through thoughtful design and challenging competition
Competition Overview
The GDE SciBOTICS competition brings together students from across the region to showcase their robotics skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities in various challenging scenarios.
Teams compete in four distinct categories, each designed to test different aspects of robotics engineering, from basic programming concepts to advanced autonomous navigation and innovation.
This year's theme focuses on space exploration, with challenges ranging from life on the Red Planet to cosmic cargo missions and innovative solutions for future space colonization.
Scoring System
Teams are evaluated on two main components: presentation and robot mission performance. Each component is scored by qualified judges using standardized criteria.
Presentation Scoring (100 points):
Teams present their problem identification, solution development, robot design, and demonstrate teamwork and creativity.
Robot Mission Scoring:
Teams complete timed missions with their robots, demonstrating technical proficiency and mission completion capabilities.
The final ranking combines both scores to determine the overall winners in each category.
